Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 September 2026
Save or Die (saveordie.app) is operated by Luke Busler as an individual. This policy explains what personal information the site collects when you sign in, why it is collected, and what is done with it. It applies to saveordie.app and its subdomains.
What is collected
Signing in with Google requests three standard scopes — openid, email and profile. From them the site receives and stores your Google account identifier, your email address, and the basic profile information Google returns with it (your name and profile picture URL).
Nothing beyond that login identity is collected. No additional Google scopes are requested, so the site has no access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.
Why it is collected
Solely to authenticate you and to check your email address against the private-beta allow-list that controls who may use the site. It is used for no other purpose.
What is not done with it
- Your information is never sold, rented, or traded.
- It is not shared with third parties, and is not disclosed to anyone else except where the law requires it.
- It is not used for advertising, ad profiling, or marketing email.
- It is not used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking technology is used on the site.
Google API Services Limited Use
Save or Die’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and sessions
A session cookie is used to keep you signed in after authentication. It is strictly necessary for the site to function and is not used to track you across other websites.
Retention
Your login identity is kept for as long as your account is active. If you ask for your account to be deleted, or if you lose access to the beta, the record is removed.
Your choices
You can revoke the site’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google account’s permissions page, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To see what is stored about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email the address below and it will be handled.
Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS and access is restricted to the allow-list. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
The site is not intended for anyone under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, email the address below and the account will be removed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
